Summary Project Description:
This town in Eastern Ghana has a population of about 50,000 people and its major problem is a lack of clean water supplies for the residents. The local Accra West Rotary Club has been working to provide water to the eastern portion of the city but the western side still lacks such service. The lack of a municipal sanitary waste system compounds the problem by creating a high prevalence of water borne diseases.
