Rotary Fellowships Highlighted at Bangkok Convention House of Friendship

Rotary Fellowships will be ably represented at this year's annual RI Convention's House of Friendship and will hold their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, May 8th, at 2:00 pm in the Convention Center, Room 17.    For those not familiar with Rotary Fellowships, these subject-area focus groups are a wonderful way of joining in and networking with Rotarians around the world that share commons interests, and a very effective tool for membership retention.  They are also a wonderful way to further vocational development through acquaintance of others in the same profession.

Some examples of Fellowship groups are:  Amateur Radio; Chess; Flying; Gourmets; Latin Culture; Marathon Running; Police and Law Enforcement; Railroads; Scouting; Travel and Hosting; and, Physicians, to name only a few of the 58 Board-recognized Rotary Fellowships in good standing with RI.  To learn more about Rotary Fellowships, visit www.rotary.org and download the Rotary Fellowship handbook.  The most recent Rotary Fellowship newsletter, The Fellowship Advancer, can be found under the District Documents link at the top of our homepage.
